Who do I recall with red hair...Mikado Gao from Buddyfight! DID YOU ASK FOR MORE CARD GAMES? BUT OF COURSE. (It's a show about kids playing card games, buddy police, taking over the world, dragons, takoyaki, the power of friendship and nakama......I just remembered that I haven't caught up with the second season. Wait for me, buddyfight.) He fits the kids shounen protagonist to a T but there's something I find pretty charming about that trait. ENERGETIC CHARACTERS ARE GOOD IN GENERAL.

how abouttt renjouji bell from pretty rhythm - rainbow live?? it's a show about.. iceskating idols, i think.. with some pretty catchy tunes.. i just love bell because she's really cool and comes across as aloof but she's actually very soft. and there's this joke in the series that her hair looks like a christmas tree from the back, haha. :'3

TRICK OR TREAT!!! here's tomochika shibuya from utapri! even if she's just a satellite best friend for the main heroine, I really like her personality, she's cheerful and gung-ho just like a shounen protag! and she's a good singer too.

I like Gammon from Phi Brain! (linking to the colors deck... cause simpler?). He is pretty much that 'Not the main character but like the enemy turned loser friend' type character. I like that he is so cool looking but super lame ^p^

i really like shiki misaki from twewy... she's really nice and has a cool character arc that's very relatable imo. i just wish neku wasn't such a jerk to her, but, well, what can you do about traumatised emo teens.

BUT THATS OKAY because I can talk about Amane Suou! She's a really interesting character - it's hard to explain her fully without spoilers, like all Grisaia characters. On the surface, she's a huge flirt who's also a real older sister type. She attends a special school for people who can't really be in the regular school population, and pretty much takes care of one of the other students as her kid. She's not my favorite Grisaia girl but to be fair it's really hard to choose between all of them so shhhh

edit: I ALSO REALIZED I COULD HAVE TALKED ABOUT KAEDE ICHINOSE... okay, here's all i need to say about Kaede. In her first five minutes on screen, she skydives into the middle of a contest yelling in broken English and kisses a girl. That's Kaede.

Only the best shounen hero of all time, yo. Himura Kenshin is a model for all the good humanity is capable of and downright inspirational for the idea that no matter how low your life gets, you can always find happiness again. He does horrible things, he can't forgive himself, but he finds people who love him and don't care about his past and make him learn to forgive himself and it's the best kind of heartbreaking.

I guess Kyoko does not need introductions. Kousuke is from Spiral and the "stupid" one of the group. Actually all of them are very smart, but he's more into doing things now than using days planning. He's arrogant and violent (out of necessity), but cares deeply of his friends, even if they do make fun of him most of the time. He's also usually in a bad mood. Or tries to act cool and fails. :D And of course, there's the cute romance...
